Personal:  After marrying Roger King (’75) in Mead Chapel in 1976, I moved to Portland, ME.  In 1980 I headed west to Dallas, TX. where we lived and worked for the next 30 years.  I was in sales for both Towle Silversmiths and Reed and Barton Silversmiths.  In 2010 we moved to Boulder, CO.  My favorite activity is hiking.  Our daughter, Amanda, went to Colby and now lives and works in Boulder.  Our son, Joseph, went to the University of Texas and now lives and works in Aspen.  Colorado feels like home as we reconnect with so many Middlebury friends in the mountains.  We spend summers in Newburyport, MA. where I am learning to sail as a senior.    Please look us up in either location.

I found reunion to be an amazing experience.  I am filled with gratitude for the many experiences and friendships I had with you all.

Hupps for Xmas ltr 2015 final

Family info – Married to Al Hupp since November 1977. Two children, James (34) and Marcy (31).

Contact Info – Email me at mthupp@gmail.com, or find me on Facebook as Theresa Hupp and Theresa Hupp, Author. Home address 4611 N Baltimore Dr, Kansas City, MO 64116.

Professional Background – After graduating from Middlebury, I attended Stanford Law School. I married my fellow Stanford classmate, Al Hupp, during our second year. We graduated in 1979, and moved to Kansas City, Missouri.

I worked for Hallmark Cards from September 1979 until December 2006. I worked in the Hallmark Legal Division for 17 years, ending as Assistant General Counsel. I worked primarily in the field of employment law, though I also handled a variety of litigation and corporate matters. I then moved into Hallmark’s Human Resources Division for the last ten years of my employment. I managed a variety of HR functions, including Staffing, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits. My last position at Hallmark was Director of Total Rewards.

Since retiring from Hallmark at age 50, I have been a mediator and HR consultant, and also a writer. I have published two novels, Playing the Game (a corporate thriller published under the pseudonym Sara Rickover), and Lead Me Home (historical fiction published under my own name). Both books are available online through Amazon and Barnes & Noble in paperback or ebook formats. I hope to publish the sequel to Lead Me Home by the end of 2016.

I keep a blog, Story & History, at https://mthupp.wordpress.com/

Favorite Memory – Hiding the chalk from Prof. Dry on April Fool’s Day 1975, so he couldn’t write his lecture outline on the board before class.

NOTE: Most of you probably don’t remember me, because I started with the Class of 1977, though I graduated with the Class of 1976.
